Case Study
Ascot Racecourse
Flat & Pitched Roof Refurbishment with M&E Enclosure rebuild
Stadium Support Services was appointed by Ascot Racecourse to carry out a full refurbishment of the Pavilion roof. This followed a detailed condition survey which identified urgent works to both the flat and slate-pitched roofs, alongside the removal and replacement of plant housing and walkways.
The Challenge
The project took place in a live venue with tight weather windows and active event scheduling. Key challenges included shutting pedestrian areas, removing plant equipment and housing, and lifting materials by crane. All roofing works were weather-dependent, requiring flexible planning and close coordination with the venue team.

“This was a complex project with several moving parts, and the Stadium Support Services team managed it very well from start to finish. Their planning, communication, and on-site coordination were solid throughout, particularly given the challenges of working around events and the weather. They kept us informed at each stage and completed the project on time and to a high standard. We’re very pleased with the end result.”
