Swimming Pool Area & Spa Facility Refurbishment

Stadium Support Services were appointed to deliver the full replacement of all floor tiles across the swimming pool and adjoining spa areas within a mixed-use commercial and residential building, ensuring the facilities were upgraded to a high-quality, durable and compliant finish suitable for both residents and commercial users. 


The Challenge

The project involved coordinating multiple client stakeholders while maintaining alignment on specification, scope, and final finish.
Product selection was key — tiles needed to meet strict anti-slip and heat-resistance requirements suitable for a 30-degree pool environment with limited ventilation.
Waste disposal posed further logistical challenges due to restricted skip use, and the live pool environment introduced additional health and safety considerations, including work within proximity to deep water.

The Solution

Clear communication was managed through the project manager, who coordinated updates across multiple contacts and issued regular progress reports and milestone updates.
Tile selection was completed collaboratively using samples and data sheets. Despite high temperatures and limited ventilation, the team maintained safe progress through managed breaks and strict health and safety controls.
Waste removal was scheduled to avoid disruption, and a one-metre exclusion zone with life-safety equipment ensured safe working near open water.
The project delivered a high-quality tiled finish, completed to specification, on time and ready for immediate use.
