Case Study
25 Hanover Square, London
Post-Construction Internal Lift Shaft Art Installation via Rope Access
Stadium Support Services were appointed to install seven curated art pieces within the internal lift shaft of a high end office building at 25 Hanover Square, London.
Using specialist rope access techniques, the works required precise placement of each artwork to ensure correct alignment and visual impact as lifts arrived at every level.
The Challenge
The artworks were required to be installed within the internal walls of a live lift shaft, positioned so each piece appeared perfectly centred within the viewing window at every floor.
Each artwork varied in shape, size and weight, requiring careful consideration of fixing methods and installation tolerances.
The restricted working environment and proximity to lift operations demanded a controlled approach to ensure both safety and protection of the artworks.
