Complete Refurbishment to Montys Bar & Lounge

As part of Wycombe Wanderers’ wider hospitality upgrades ahead of the new season, Stadium Support Services was appointed to refurbish Monty’s Bar & Lounge. The goal was to transform the space into a modern, multi-use hospitality suite that generates additional matchday and non-matchday revenue while enhancing the fan and community experience.

The Challenge

The project had to be delivered to a tight programme during the off-season, ensuring the space was ready for the first home game. Working closely with the club, our team developed design concepts and mood boards that combined a fresh, modern aesthetic with Wycombe’s brand heritage.

The brief called for a space that would feel bright, welcoming and versatile – a sports bar and hospitality suite that could serve fans on matchdays, attract supporters for away-game screenings, and host wider community use.

Scope of Work

  • Reconfiguration: Adjusted walls and doorways to improve customer flow

  • Lighting & Electrics: Full strip-out, new electrical installations and mood lighting to define zones within the space
  • Finishes: Redecoration with a modern look and feel, keeping club branding at the heart of the design
  • Ancillary Areas: Full fit-out of the kitchen and back-of-bar facilities
  • AV Installation: Supply and install of new AV system for live match streaming
  • Furniture: Installation of banquette seating, poser tables and bespoke furniture to maximise capacity and flexibility

The Solution

In just four weeks, Stadium Support Services delivered a complete transformation. The result is a bright, modern and flexible hospitality space that supports Wycombe Wanderers in generating increased revenue across matchday and non-matchday use.

Monty’s Bar & Lounge is now a welcoming, multi-purpose venue enjoyed by fans, staff and the local community.

“The transformation of Monty’s Bar has been fantastic. The space is modern, welcoming and versatile, and has already made a big difference to the matchday and non-matchday experience.”

Supply & Installation of New Dugouts

As part of major pitch renovations at Adams Park, Stadium Support Services was appointed to supply and install new home, away and referee dugouts. The project delivered bespoke, modern facilities designed to enhance the matchday experience for both players and fans, while supporting the club’s long-term development.

The Challenge

The works required close coordination with contractors delivering wider pitch renovations. The dugouts needed to be relocated closer to the stands to improve sight lines for fans, while ensuring compliance with local authority approvals. All activity had to be completed within tight timelines ahead of the new season.

Scope of Work

  • Enabling Works: Ground preparation and service connections for the new dugout locations

  • Design & Manufacture: Bespoke dugouts developed and produced to club specifications
  • Home & Away Dugouts: Supply and installation of two dugouts, each with 22-person capacity
  • Referee’s Dugout: Installation of assistant referee’s dugout with space provision for future VAR facilities
  • Seating & Branding: Bespoke seating supplied with the Wycombe Wanderers crest embroidered
  • Heating & Electrics: Electrical systems installed to provide heated seating within the home dugout

The Solution

The team delivered a complete solution: relocating the dugouts closer to the stands improved sight lines, strengthened the connection between pitch and supporters, and enhanced the matchday atmosphere.

Each dugout was bespoke, with greater capacity, comfort and quality finishes. Heated seating was added to the home dugout to support player performance, while embroidered seating reinforced the club’s identity. The referee’s dugout was future-proofed with space for VAR.

Delivered to tight off-season deadlines, the result is a modern, spacious dugout area that elevates the experience for players, officials and fans, while supporting the club’s ambition to continually improve facilities.

“The quality of the new dugouts is outstanding – they look fantastic and deliver exactly what we needed ahead of the new season.”
